To keep our community safe, respectful, and lawful, all users must follow these Community Guidelines when using the DayGist website, mobile app, or any of our related services (collectively, the “Platform”).

• Self-Harm or Suicide: Encouraging or glorifying self-harm or suicide

• Spam and Scams: Repetitive, misleading, or fraudulent promotions

• False or Misleading Information: Misinformation that can cause harm or panic

• Drugs and Weapons: Sale, promotion, or display of illegal substances or firearms

• Copyright Violations: Posting materials you do not own or have rights to

• Personal Data Exposure: Sharing private information (like addresses, phone numbers, or financial data) without consent

3. User-Generated Content

• You are responsible for the content you post, including text, images, videos, and links.

• Do not upload anything you don’t have permission to share.

• Your posts must comply with local and international laws.

• DayGist may moderate, remove, or restrict any content that violates these Guidelines or applicable laws.

4. Illegal Activities

Users must not use DayGist for:

• Money laundering, gambling, or financial fraud

• Selling counterfeit goods or digital scams

• Distributing malware, phishing links, or hacking tools

• Promoting illegal acts under any jurisdiction

All illegal activities may be reported to law enforcement when required by law.

5. Child Protection Policy

DayGist follows international child safety laws including COPPA (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act).

• Users under 13 are not allowed to register without verified parental consent.

• Any content involving minors in a sexual, abusive, or exploitative way will be immediately removed and reported to authorities.

We encourage parents and guardians to monitor their children’s online activity.

6. Account Behavior

You agree not to:

• Create multiple fake or misleading accounts

• Impersonate individuals, brands, or organizations

• Use bots, scripts, or automation to manipulate likes, followers, or posts

• Engage in coordinated spamming or manipulation of discussions

Violating these rules can result in account suspension or permanent ban.

7. Moderation and Enforcement

DayGist uses a combination of:

• AI-based detection for harmful or spam content

• Human moderation for reported posts

• User reporting tools to flag content or accounts that violate these policies

Moderation decisions are made in good faith to protect the community. Users may contact support if they believe a mistake occurred.

8. Advertising and Monetization

All ads or sponsored content must:

• Follow Google AdSense and App Store advertising guidelines

• Avoid adult, violent, or misleading material

• Clearly disclose sponsorship or promotional intent

Unauthorized or deceptive advertising will be removed immediately.

9. Content Ownership and Removal

• You retain ownership of your content, but grant DayGist a limited license to display it.

• We reserve the right to remove any post or account that violates our Terms or these Guidelines.

• Removed content may be stored temporarily for security or legal review.

10. Appeals and Reporting

If your post or account is removed:

• You may appeal the decision by contacting our moderation team at moderation@daygist.com.

• Report abusive or illegal content directly via the “Report” button or by email.

We review all valid reports promptly and take appropriate action.

11. Global Compliance

DayGist operates globally and follows:

• GDPR (Europe) – data and privacy protection

• CCPA (California) – user rights and transparency

• COPPA (USA) – child safety

• IT Act (India), UK Online Safety Bill, and similar digital laws

We adjust moderation and visibility according to the laws of each region.

12. Consequences of Violation

Depending on severity, violations may result in:

• Warning or temporary suspension

• Removal of offending content

• Permanent account termination

• Reporting to legal authorities (for criminal content)

These steps are taken to ensure DayGist remains safe, lawful, and trustworthy for everyone.

13. Updates to Guidelines

We may update these Community Guidelines from time to time.
Continued use of DayGist after updates means you agree to the revised rules.
